Bergerat Monnoyeur to present its innovative solutions at Intermat

Bergerat Monnoyeur will exhibit at the Intermat exhibition which will be held from 24 to 27 April 2024 at the Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition centre, with a dedicated space of 1,000 square metres within the 2,000- square metre of Monnoyeur Group (stand 5b E023). On this occasion, Bergerat Monnoyeur will present its latest digital solutions and its reduced carbon offer.

At the Intermat Innovations Awards, the company will present Cat® Command and its Service Digitalisation solution.

Cat Command technology allows machines to be operated remotely from a safe workspace, removing the operator from potentially hazardous environments or applications, such as working on unstable surfaces or sloping terrain, moving hazardous materials, or even digging near cliff faces.

Through the Service Digitalisation and the subscription to Connectivity and Services offers, Bergerat Monnoyeur is committed to providing a set of services based on connectivity, artificial intelligence and augmented reality, available to its customers as part of the fleet management service. These new technologies guarantee a full fleet connection with machine data, access to remote diagnostics, predictive and preventive maintenance. These Connectivity & Services Offers include access to a complete digital environment: an e-commerce site for spare parts, its Bergerat Monnoyeur customer area and the reporting of mixed fleet data on VisionLink®. This data is also formatted by automatically sending a standard monthly report per machine with estimated fuel consumption, idle speed, carbon footprint and event code. Thanks to this digitalisation of services, customers have the tools and support to help improve their productivity and reduce their fuel consumption and carbon footprint.

Five Cat machines will be exhibited on the Bergerat Monnoyeur stand, including battery-powered electric prototype machines, which will be presented for the first time in France. These machines are powered by lithium-ion batteries designed by Caterpillar.

  • The Cat 906 battery electric prototype compact wheel loader utilises the well accepted Next Generation 906 diesel variant platform, expanding on the productivity and operator comfort enhancements. It is equipped with the Cat 300 V battery (64 kWh). Its run time is up to 6 hours on a single charge, depending on use and application.
  • The Cat 950 GC battery electric prototype medium wheel loader is designed to handle jobsite tasks, from material handling to truck loading, general construction and stockpiling. Its Cat 600 V (256 kWh) battery provides a run time of up to 6 hours on a single charge, depending on use and application.
  • The Cat 301.9 battery electric prototype mini excavator, compact in size, can work in a wide range of applications. Its ability to enter narrow doorways makes it an excellent machine for interior demolition work. Its Cat 48 V battery (32 kWh) provides a run time of up to 8 hours based on typical utilization and application at a 40% to 60% utilization rate.
  • The Cat 966 XE medium wheel loader delivers increased fuel efficiency and premium performance with simple-to-use standard technologies to help boost operator efficiency and lower operating costs. This machine is designed to meet emissions standards without interrupting operations. High-level performance, reliability, durability and versatility result in a machine that is better built to meet customer needs.
  • Bergerat Monnoyeur will also present its Cat Certified Rebuild Programme, with a D6 dozer, dedicated to moving materials at lower cost thanks to its outstanding fuel efficiency and reduced maintenance costs. Cat Certified Rebuild reduces the carbon footprint by giving a second life to the machine: up to 90% of the parts weight is reused; the machine has been entirely rebuilt drawing on the know-how of the Bergerat Monnoyeur technicians.
