Manitou: Official Sponsor of FC NANTES

The Manitou Group, world leader specialized in the design, assembly and distribution of all-terrain handling equipment and based in Ancenis (44), is now the Official Sponsor for the 2016/2017 season of the eight-time French football champion, FC Nantes, thanks to its Manitou brand.

This partnership thus earns the Manitou Group – owner of the Manitou, Gehl and Mustang brands – pride of place on the jerseys of the Ligue 1 FC Nantes team. To increase its visibility, publicity on the club’s digital media (website, social networks) is also included in the partnership, both at the Stade de la Beaujoire stadium and the José Arribas – La Jonelière training ground. In addition the agreement includes Public Relations services on match days.

Michel DENIS, Managing Director of the Manitou Group: “This partnership demonstrates our attachment to the region, all the more so given that it is with a L1 team with an excellent track record and national renown. We share a great many values with the FC Nantes, most of all team spirit, unity and creativity. We have the same sense of being a “group”. This collaboration also helps bring our target audiences together, both internally and externally, to celebrate a sport popular the world over. The Manitou Group is proud to be enhancing its visibility by joining forces with the FC Nantes”.

Waldemar KITA, Chairman of the FC NANTES: “We are particularly proud of the confidence shown by the Manitou brand, a brand that is part of a major industrial group in our region with remarkable expertise. We each have a rich history and share a great many values. Even though we are “neighbors”, our paths hadn’t crossed until now. We are delighted to be able to count on the support of the thousands of employees in the Manitou Group and its numerous distributors for the upcoming season. This commitment confirms the attractiveness of the FC NANTES and the support of reputable businesses for the Club’s latest ambitions”.
