90 years of Kramer

The 90-year company anniversary of Kramer was celebrated extensively in Pfullendorf: Thousands of interested visitors accepted the invitation to delve into the company history of the medium-sized construction machine manufacturer and to get to know the company in more detail.

The start of the anniversary week kicked off with a staff party followed by three more evening events for VIPs, press, dealers, suppliers and other business partners. On all four evenings, in addition to a varied show programme, the guests were offered an exciting look back onto 90 years of company history in the specially built marquee. The managing directors Karl Friedrich Hauri and Martin Eppinger were also available to representatives of the national and international trade press for a question and answer session as a part of a press conference.

At the end of the week, Kramer opened its plant gates: First, customers from the construction and agriculture industry invited to the “Experts’ day” on Friday were able to get an idea of the manufacturing processes and the powerful wheel loader and telehandler series, which was presented both stationary in a large-scale machinery exhibition as well as in an action-packed demo show. The highlight was then the “Open house day”, where about 14,000 visitors from the region flocked into the Kramer plant on the weekend. Many employees also took advantage of the opportunity to give their family and friends a look behind the scenes. Whether in the marquee with oompah music and delicious food, at the supervised children’s fun with face painting, in the grandstands on the demo grounds, at one of the many guided plant tours or in the exhibit with numerous historical machines – we saw many happy faces in the sunny autumn weather.

The approximately 140 employees, who really enjoyed preparing for the event and taking care of guests, can look back on an extremely successful event with a total of about 16,000 visitors.
